About the Course

Watercolour painting is one of the oldest and most expressive forms of art. It is created on paper using water-soluble pigments. Although it may seem difficult initially, once understood properly it becomes one of the most interesting mediums to work with.

Whether you are a beginner, student, hobbyist or professional artist, watercolour is a very essential medium in the field of art. This 6-month certificate course is designed in a simple and structured way so that students can learn comfortably and with great interest.

Students will learn important drawing skills like drawing exercises, measurement, scribbling drawing, freehand drawing, nature drawing, landscape drawing, portrait study and outdoor study drawing. Along with this they will also master major watercolour techniques such as wet on wet, wet on dry, graded wash, glazed wash, splatter texture, wax resist and dry brush.

By the end of the course students will be able to independently create artworks like landscapes, portraits and figurative paintings.
